FREEWAVE INPUT LEVEL (IN dBm) VS SIGNAL LEVEL NUMBERS
For
DGR-115, DGR-115H, AND DGRO-115 RADIOS
Scope:
The following chart lists the correlation between the input
signal level of the modem (in dBm) and the signal level number reported by the radio
statistics menu.
Procedure:
- The modem must be linked (carrier detect led solid green) in
point-to-point mode or be a slave in point to multi-point mode. This procedure will not
work for a point-to-multi-point master modem.
- While the radio is connected (per #1 above) pull up the main
menu and select submenu (4) Show Radio Statistics.
- The third line is the "Average Signal Level". Use
the chart below to correlate this number to dBm.
